Román y Morales Abogados has received the SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE COMPANY distinction, awarded by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy A.C. (CEMEFI). www.cemefi.org

The ESR distinction is a systemic process to measure and compare the level of development of good practices of social responsibility through indicators in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas in companies. It is referenced with national legislation and international regulations and includes the review of evidence to support the degree of compliance with social responsibility and sustainability of private companies, in order to accredit them with a value icon that highlights and differentiates them from other companies operating in Mexico and Latin America. The current model of the ESR distinction includes four criteria and nine areas, which are aligned with the sustainable development goals of the United Nations Organization: environmental, social, governance and global context.
